Here are some things that sometimes cause people to incorrectly believe that their house is "haunted":

• Old, noisy plumbing
• Pests living in the house such as rats or raccoon causing noise

• Specs or smudges in the lens of a camera can cause pictures taken with it to have orbs or ghosts.
